Pop Warner Football Promotes Academic Achievement
A senior account executive with Stevenson Systems, Inc., Adam Boskovich joined the California-based commercial real estate consulting firm in 2018. Outside of his professional pursuits, Adam Boskovich serves as a coach and board member with South Coast Youth Football (SCYF) in Southern California.
As a member of the Pop Warner youth football program, SCYF participates in Pop Warner Little Scholars, which promotes both academic and athletic accomplishments. In order to participate in SCYF and the Little Scholars program, youth athletes in the Orange Empire Conference of Southern California must maintain a minimum 2.0 or a 70 percent grade point average. This requirement must be met by all players of every team seeking to participate in regional and national Pop Warner championships and bowl games.
To inspire players to strive for academic excellence, Pop Warner also oversees its All-American Scholars Program. Only the most academically accomplished youth athletes qualify for All-American status, which is limited to applicants who maintain a minimum of 96 percent for all their coursework.
Each year, the select group of All-American Scholars is invited to a special celebration event. In 2017-18, 6,000 Pop Warner participants earned All-American Scholar status and were invited to the Pop Warner All-American Scholar Weekend at Walt Disney World.

Three Top Surfing Beaches in Southern California
As a Senior Account Executive with Stevenson Systems, Inc., Southern California resident Adam Boskovich draws upon more than 25 years of experience in the real estate and construction industries to provide building-measurement consulting to commercial real estate owners, managers, and leasing professionals. Outside of his work life, Adam Boskovich coaches in the local youth football league and pursues a diverse range of hobbies that includes playing golf and surfing.
One of the top surfing destinations in the world, Southern California has been home to a thriving surfing scene since the sport was first imported from Hawaii in the late 19th century. Here are three of the top surf spots in the region:
-Salt Creek Beach: Located at Dana Point, Salt Creek Beach was one of the epicenters of the surfing craze of the 1950s and 1960s. Today, Salt Creek is home to a variety of locals and visitors of all ages who take on the waves with longboards and bodyboards. In addition to “The Point” and “Middles,” the “Gravels” section of the beach can offer huge waves.
-Malibu: Familiar to film and photography buffs, this storybook beach offers waves ranging from gentle to truly epic, depending on location and time. As such, Malibu is a popular destination for beginning and advanced surfers of all ages.
-Huntington Beach: Often referred to as Surf City USA, Huntington Beach is home to the International Surfing Museum and has traditionally served as host for the World Surfing Championships and other major surfing events. The beach also offers some of the most consistent and surfable waves in the United States.
